PROJECTS
Community Hubs
Each month, we set up a tent and temporary food service station where guests are invited to share a hot, home-cooked meal served with compassion and care. Recognizing that poverty affects more than just the stomach, we also provide essential hygiene kits that include items like soap, toothbrushes, deodorant, sanitary products, and other personal care necessities—simple but vital resources that restore health, dignity, and a sense of normalcy. For many, these hubs are the only place they receive these basic essentials without judgment or red tape.
What sets the MPCS Community Hubs apart is our commitment to connection beyond crisis. Every person who comes through is met with kindness and offered personalized guidance toward next steps—whether that’s enrolling in housing support, connecting with mental health resources, finding local food banks, or learning about employment and education opportunities. We partner with other service organizations to ensure the support doesn't stop when the meal ends.

GED Classes
At MPCS, we believe education is a cornerstone of lasting change. Our GED Readiness Program is designed to provide individuals with the tools, support, and encouragement they need to take the next step toward better job opportunities and self-sufficiency.
Offered on an 8-week rotating basis, this program delivers structured, in-person GED preparation classes focused on the four core subjects: Language Arts, Math, Science, and Social Studies. Each cycle is crafted to meet students where they are—providing a solid foundation, practice tests, and confidence-building instruction in a safe, supportive environment.
For many, this program is the rock they’ve been looking for—the steady support that helps them break generational barriers and rewrite their future. Whether someone is seeking employment, stability, or simply a second chance, MPCS is here to walk that journey with them—every step of the way.
Annual Festival
The MPCS Annual Festival is more than just a community gathering—it’s a powerful movement toward restoration, opportunity, and unity. Held in a local Baltimore park, this event brings together residents, local businesses, service providers, and change-driven organizations for a day filled with purpose and empowerment.
With dedicated spaces for resume building, on-site job fairs, and vendor showcases, attendees gain direct access to employment resources, career guidance, and economic opportunities. We welcome organizations committed to ending violence in our city, working side by side with us to reach at-risk youth and instill a sense of purpose, discipline, and hope through meaningful work and mentorship.
The festival creates a vibrant, safe space where the community can connect, learn, and grow together—planting seeds of peace and productivity that extend far beyond a single day. It’s not just a festival—it’s a platform for change.

Childcare Fund
Childcare is one of the biggest barriers standing between single parents and opportunity. At MPCS, we recognize the incredible effort it takes for a single parent to provide, pursue stability, and push forward—often with limited support. That’s why we’re launching the MPCS Childcare Fund, a vital initiative aimed at subsidizing up to 50% of childcare costs for parents who are doing everything they can to make the best of every situation.
As the cost of care continues to rise, our goal is to lighten the financial load so that parents can focus on securing employment, furthering their education, or simply catching their breath. This fund is more than a discount—it’s an investment in strong families, healthy childhoods, and brighter futures.
With your support, we can offer relief, restore balance, and remind single parents that they are not alone. Together, we’re building a community that uplifts—not just with words, but with real action.
Transition Housing
At MPCS, we believe in restoration—of people, homes, and communities. Our Transition Housing initiative, known as “Buy Back the Block,” is focused on reclaiming run-down properties in our neighborhoods and transforming them into livable, supportive housing for youth and individuals experiencing homelessness.
This project is about more than shelter—it’s about hope, healing, and purpose. We are reaching those who simply need a hand, and offering them the full embrace of the Body of Christ. By providing safe transitional housing, we give young people the stability they need to focus on growth. Within our homes, residents receive life skills training, job placement support, mentorship, and spiritual guidance.
Our goal is to raise funds to restore homes and futures—turning those once forgotten into contributors, leaders, and pillars of the community. When we invest in them, they begin to reinvest in the world around them. Together, we’re not just taking people off the street—we’re building a legacy of transformation.

@SouthChurch
What would a Kingdom mentality be if we didn’t support our local small churches—the very heart of our communities and the frontline of faith? At MPCS, we believe that growing the Kingdom of Heaven starts right here, with us—by showing up, sowing in, and standing behind ministries that are changing lives.
That’s why we’re proud to support Pastor Aaron Hannah Sr. and the AMAZING congregation at South Church, located at 601 Cherry Hill Rd, Baltimore, MD 21225. This church is more than a building—it’s a beacon. Week after week, they pour into the people of Baltimore with love, truth, and purpose, offering hope where it’s needed most.
Want to be part of something bigger? Join them for Sunday worship at 10 AM or 12 PM, and don’t miss Bible Study every Tuesday at 7 PM. Help us lift up leaders who are actually doing the work and help bring more souls to Christ. Let’s build the Kingdom—together.
